Tin Can Lamp Tutorial

​What that you need :

  • -2 large Tin Cans
    -Krylon ColorMaster Spray Paint
    -Liquid Nails
    -Light kit (I got mine on Amazon-here)
    -Hammer
    -Ice Pick (you could also use a large nail)

Step 1

Using the ice pick and hammer, poke holes all over the both cans (except for the bottom of one)

Step 2

This is what they should look like after you are super sore from all that hammering

Step 6

Lastly, you need to adhere the two cans together! I did this with liquid nails and it worked fanatically! Simply squirt it along the edge of of the base can and place the top can on top of it. Add pressure and let set overnight.

Step 3

The next step is to create a hole towards the bottom of the base can that is the right size for your light kit to be inserted by using drill

Step 5

Once the paint has dried , simply put the light bulb through the hole that you created for it and screw in the light bulb from the inside.

Step 4

Decorate the tin with spray paint.My tips,use a bright colour so that your tin can lamp will look pretty
